You’ll find Jean Flynn Church to be a family friendly church. Whether it is singing the hymns and choruses of praise to God, receiving instruction through the preaching of the Word and Bible studies, or simply gathering for a picnic, the family of God at Jean Flynn enjoys a fellowship in the Lord that we are eager to share with others.
Our desire is to serve the City of Playford by seeing a community of believers in Christ committed to supporting one another in establishing the God-given standards and principles designed to bless the life of every person in every home. This desire is summarized in our vision: "Reaching out with the truth of God’s Word, through the love of God’s Son, for the praise of God’s glory."
Jean Flynn Church is a member church of the Presbyterian Church in Australia (P.C.A.). The P.C.A. is a Church standing in the great Reformation tradition of Calvin and Luther (preferring to remain so as opposed to entering into union in 1977 which saw the establishment of the Uniting Church) with a desire to have a church that would be "true to the Scriptures, the Reformed faith, and the Great Commission of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." This vision has resulted in a denomination deeply rooted in the great historical traditions of the Protestant church, while maintaining a relevant, practical application of God’s word to daily life in the 21st century.
