Meet our Pastor

            Although Pastor Kevin Stow’s working life has been heavily associated with aviation, both as a member of the Royal Australian Air Force, where he was an Engineering Officer, and in civil aviation, both in Australia and overseas, he brings several years of pastoral experience to the work here at Jean Flynn Church.  Kevin came to know Christ as Saviour whilst still in the Air Force.  He has subsequently studied, largely through external means, and gained a Bachelor of Arts (Pol. Science, Economics, Theology) from the University of Queensland.  

            In 1999 Kevin and his wife Sandra, who comes from Ipswich, Queensland, went to live in the United States spending a year in Phoenix, Arizona, and 6 years in Texas.  During this time Kevin took on further studies and graduated with a Masters Degree in Pastoral ministry from the Masters Graduate School of Divinity, Evansville, Indiana, USA.

            In 2006 Kevin and Sandra returned from the United States and, after re-establishing themselves at home in Australia, he accepted the call to minister with us at here at Jean Flynn Church.  Kevin and Sandra have two married daughters:

 Christine, married to Robert Norman, and living in Melbourne; they have one son, Jacob, and

 Kathryn, married to Steven Clarke, and living in Ipswich, Queensland; they have five children, Jessica, Rachel, Grace, Liam and Tilly.

Kevin's hobbies are music (he plays guitar and loves Country Music), old movies and aviation.
